Port St. Lucie Wedding║Megan + Zac

Bride and Groom smiling and walking hand in hand at sunset in Port St. Lucie Florida Wedding

Megan and Zac were awesome and so was their Port St. Lucie wedding! While some of their plans didn’t pan out (their party bus never showed up to transport their 22 person wedding party to their portrait session or their reception, and it rained during their afternoon portrait session), this amazing couple was positive and flexible- an absolute pleasure to be around. Regardless of those setbacks, Megan and Zac’s beautiful smiles and unwavering joy made for beautiful photos and film. It was authentic and real and everything we love about weddings. We loved capturing their day through photographs and video as it unfolded. Those genuine love-filled “in-between” moments were beautiful and abundant throughout their perfectly imperfect day!

Zac and Megan were surrounded by love of their large groomsmen and bridal party along with three sweet flower girls and a ring bearer! The moments of preparation with this lively group were fun and touching and beautiful. The father of the bride’s first look pulled on our heartstrings as Megan and her dad shared a sweet and intimate moment together. And even now, (despite that I have seen them countless times while editing) looking through the images of Megan and Zac reading their love letters to one another brings tears to my eyes.

The two were married in a ceremony at the St. Lucie Catholic Church. The look on Zac’s face as Megan and her father walked down the aisle was priceless.

After their ceremony, the couple prepared to leave the church only to find that the party bus they had contracted to transport the wedding party to get their portraits as well as to the wedding reception never showed up at the church! To top it off, it was pouring rain- but the smiles wouldn’t budge from the newlyweds’ faces- how could we not love them!?!?!

These two just adapted and their wedding party was awesome and flexible. So we whisked the newlyweds away to the Port St Lucie Botanical Gardens for a quick rainy but romantic portrait session which couldn’t have been more beautiful. They even agreed to stand still under this banyan tree as we took over 100 images to create this bokeh-panorama!

After their quick portrait session, Megan and Zac joined their wedding party at the Santa Lucia River Club for some group photos which were lots of fun!

Their reception at the Santa Lucia River Club was lively and fun. The wedding party stole the show for a few moments during their funny entrances but all eyes were joyfully tearful watching Zac and Megan during their first dance.

After dinner, the sun came out just in time to have a beautiful sunset so we stole Megan and Zac for a few moments together in the dreamy golden light out on the green.

The first dances with the Father of the Bride and the Mother of the groom gave us all the feels. Speeches by the best man and the maid of honor were perfectly comical and sweet. And with With DJ Louie G, everyone had a blast dancing their asses off during their reception which made for some killer dance floor stories! Megan and Zac’s guests breaking it down was an absolute blast!

It goes without saying, Megan and Zac’s Port St. Lucie Wedding was perfect!
