Day-After-Wedding Photography Session: Stuart Beach, Florida

So what happens when it rains on your wedding day in Florida? There are always options! Megan and Zac’s wedding day was amazing but rainy, which was not exactly what they envisioned for their “Florida Wedding” so we were thrilled when they chose to have a quick “day after” wedding session with us at Ross Witham Beach in Stuart. Who really needs to be asked twice to wear their wedding dress again, right? The stress of wedding day schedules and timelines was over so it was a perfect way to capture some stress-free moments of genuine celebration of their beautiful lovel. The light was perfect with the sun setting as the playful newlyweds and delighted in each other and their union before departing on their honeymoon!

One of the beautiful things about an after-wedding shoot is that the ceremony and reception is already over and there are no guests or observers to worry about. In essence, it doesn’t matter if our bride’s dress and our groom’s tux gets wet or a bit dirty so there is so much more freedom and scope to play and get creative- which is exactly what we did!

Zac and Megan’s playful nature was so evident in their session and because we all had already spent so much time getting to know each other throughout their wedding journey, it made things extra comfortable for them to let loose and be themselves! We love building relationships based on trust with our clients as we feel like friends shooting from the “inside” rather than photographers shooting “at” our couples.

Megan and Zac were happy to get in the water at the end of their sunset session which gave us a variety of moments from playful to romantic to sensual.

During the last few moments as the sun went down, we all welcomed the beautiful crescent moon together as we wrapped up and hugged our new friends and wished them well on their honeymoon. Congratulations and much love to you both, Megan and Zac!
